With heavy hearts, we announce that Liz passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023 at the Grace Hospital after a very short illness. She had just celebrated her 94th birthday the previous week.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Frederickson; parents, Campbell and Janet Millar of Portage la Prairie and brothers, Jack and Cam.
Liz is survived by her children, Paul Jr., Janice Thomson and Diane Eyford and their families.
Liz was a strong independent woman with her own ideas and opinions and happy to share them with others. It made for entertaining times, conversation and stories!
Liz's family kindly requests that her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by visiting her tribute page at A photo-biography, as well as memories and stories published by those who knew her are available there.
In accordance with their wishes, no formal service will be held. Her family and friends will gather at a later date to toast to the original Maude!

I haven't seen her for quite a few years and that was at Paula's when were there for dinner and she gave me a big hug. The first time I met you Mom was at Chipman's farm in 1973 when the myself and the guys form Leisure Time were demonstrating snowmobiles for the Birchwood/Southwood staff. - Posted by: Paul Tilley (Good Acquaintance ) on: Feb 11, 2023
