VINCENT MICHAEL TYCHOLAS
November 15, 1951 February 3, 2023
With heavy hearts and great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Vince Tycholas with his family by his side.
Vince is greatly missed by his devoted wife of 50 years Grace; sons Ryan (Winter) and Derek (Lené); daughter Krista; only grandchild Colton; sisters Phyllis (Ted) Shwaluke and Alison Bach; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter Amanda (2021) and recently, best friend Dennis Pero (2023).
Vince, a Winnipegger his entire life, had many passions and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. He earned his CGA in 1986 and worked many different accounting positions until his retirement from the Government of Manitoba in 2010. Family was first and foremost to Vince of whom he shared his many interests of travel, cribbage, computers, cars, and baseball. His knowledge of something about everything, detailed storytelling, and vibrant personality will be forever cherished.
Cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to Operation Excellence Health Sciences Centre Foundation or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

And offering my condolences to Vince's family. I met Vince at the GST office in 1990. I always found him to be entertaining and an easy person to approach and talk with about anything. Vince jump ship to the province and I had the pleasure of working with him there as well, on some cases or files he was involved in. That was a good guy. Very sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Don Dupuis (Co-worker) on: Feb 16, 2023
