One year ago on Valentine's Day,
The Angels gathered near your bed,
so very close to you.
For they knew the pain and suffering
that you were going through.
We wished we had five minutes,
the day you passed away.
We would have had time to tell you,
all the things we needed to say.
The last time we talked to you,
we wished we would have known.
We would have said We Love You,
and kept you on the phone.
We'd hold on to you with real tight hugs,
We wouldn't want you to go.
We would tell you that We'll miss you,
more than you ever know.
Now our hearts carry memories
of the love you gave to us.
Happy Valentine's Day Mom!
