DENNIS ALAN DRUMMOND

On February 3, 2023, our beloved Dennis passed away at the age of 87 at the Valleyview Care Home.
Dennis was born on September 25, 1935 as the first child of Tom and Virlie Drummond. On October 5, 1957, he married his childhood sweetheart and forever love, Missy. This past fall they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Where one went, the other was never far behind.
Together, Dennis and Missy had five children. He will be lovingly remembered by Dennis (Tamara), Lisa, Stephen (Cheryl), Wanda (Don) and Vincent. He was a proud and doting papa to Alicia, Jason, Kelsi, Aaron and Matthew; and he also had the joy of being a great-papa to Nicholas, Alexander, Hunter, Nora and Luca.
Dennis also leaves behind his brothers Ron (Nettie) and Glen (Merle), and was predeceased by his parents and his sister Joyce (Hartley).
In keeping with his wishes, a private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Valleyview for their excellent care and compassion provided to Dennis and our family over the years. They would also like to thank the helpful staff at Brockie Donovan for their compassion and assistance during this difficult time.

  • Sorry for your Loss Mrs. Drummond and Families. In growing up in Alexander with your Kids my Favorite Memories was the Nights we were able to hang out at your Home with the kids listening to music and watch Mr. and Mrs. Drummond putting us to shame with them dancing to our Music and having fun as well. He always said a big Hello when we met up from time to time and asking how My Family is doing either By Name or as a general concern. May he rest in Peace and will always be remembered from us Conley kids. Sincerly Dayle Kristalovich - Posted by: Dayle Kristalovich (Friend of the Family) on: Feb 19, 2023

  • My deepest sympathy Missy. Dennis was a great friend and I enjoyed helping to keep an eye on the RV's in the compound and knew anything different in there would be attended to quickly by Dennis. Missy my thoughts and love to you and your family. You have been a strong person and I know going to a nursing home daily is stressful and please try to get some rest. Feel free to come and see me. My love and sympathy, Grace Jones. - Posted by: Grace Jones (Friend) on: Feb 16, 2023
