ANN HELEN PEILUCK
October 12, 1942 February 13, 2023
After a short and courageous battle with an illness, Ann peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, February 13, 2023, at St. Boniface Hospital at age 80. She is survived by her loving daughter, Joanie and son-in-law Rob Smalley, and her precious granddaughter Ashley.
Ann is predeceased by her husband John (2020), her son David (1999), her parents Michael (1985) and Kay (1987) of Chatfield, MB, her brothers Alex (2005) of Wanless, MB and John (2019) of Winnipeg, her in-laws, Peter and Rosalia Peiluck of Gimli, brothers-in-law, Nick Ptashynski of Chatfield, Tony Peiluck of Gimli, Wayne Coppin of Regina, sister-in-law Janet Pawlychyn of Winnipeg and nephews, Ron Chudy of Fisher Branch, and Christopher Pawlychyn of Arcola, SK.
She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Ptashynski of Winnipeg, Kathy (Ross) Kidd of Saskatoon, and sisters-in-law, Donna Seredycz Pawlychyn of Winnipeg, Irene Pawlychyn of Arcola, Mary Coppin of Regina, and May Peiluck of Gimli. Mom also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she adored.
Mom's funeral will take place on Friday, March 3 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Parish, 400 Day Street, Winnipeg.
Our heartfelt thanks to the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service and the wonderful staff at St. Boniface Emergency and floor 6E for their dedication and compassionate care for mom.
A special thank you also to Father Alan Wizinsky for preparing mom for her journey to heaven and comforting us. God Bless you All.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann's memory to St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Parish, 100 Yale Ave, Winnipeg, MB R2C 0H8.
