Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I was sorry to first hear Kathy was sick. As a bus driver, you either see people at the garage or they’re on your bus or you’re on theirs. Many times she would be taking my bus to her next piece of work. Every time I saw her at the bus stop I smiled because I knew we were going to be laughing at something by the time I dropped her off Always bubbly and smiling. She was a super person. The only time I never saw her smile was during Covid when she had to wear her mask and if you saw the mask, you would laugh because of the picture that was on it. Lol I’m sorry you’re gone so soon , and will mess my encounters on the bus with you. - Posted by: Mike Dickson (Fellow Transit Driver) on: Feb 26, 2023

  • I am very saddened by Kathy’s passing and the terrible end of a very energetic loyal all around awesome person. Anyone that had the pleasure of being a part of her journey on this earth is a better person for it. She always brought a smile with her no matter the circumstances she was facing. Even that final picture of her with her facing her end she still had a smile. I will forever remember her by her smile and saying my name is Kathy! Kathy With a “K” Kathy was not only a friend but an employee at my flower shops prior to her transit days. To this day I am grateful she was a part of the team. I am sure that I speak for all that worked with her there. We all loved her. My sincere condolences go out to her family especially her three boys. Kathy has left a smile within my heart. So long my friend….. it was a Pleasure to have shared some of your journey Angie Sumka - Posted by: Angie Sumka (Friend ) on: Feb 25, 2023
