RONALD ERIC TRAPP
November 14, 1932 – February 26, 2023

As the sun was setting on February 26, Dad took his last breath. He was a kind, gentle, and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Dad proudly served as a Winnipeg Fire Fighter for 34 years until his retirement in 1988.

Dad's shoes can never be filled!

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • We were so sorry to hear of Ron's death. We have kept in touch over the years since he left Rainy River, on birthdays and at Christmas. Ron was a good friend and neighbour. We had some great fishing and some real adventures together with Ron and Lori. We have much to thank him for. He always had a good word for whomever he met. He will be missed. - Posted by: Bill and Nancy Schaak (Friends) on: Mar 04, 2023

  • Ron was the husband of my childhood friend Lori. We, my late husband and I got to know Ron and Lori again when we moved back to Wpg. He was a lovely, gentle, kind man. He redid our kitchen for us and it was beautiful. We spent lots Saturday nights playing cards and laughing. I will miss him for the phone calls we kept up after Lori died. They were a special couple. - Posted by: Audrey (Friend ) on: Mar 04, 2023

  • I met Ron a couple of times but didn't know him well. He fought fires and saved lives. My condolences to his family. - Posted by: Scott Miner (Collegue) on: Mar 04, 2023
