Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Our sincerest condolences on losing Brian. A loving father, grampa and husband. I’ll always remember the days around the pool on Liberty St. when all the kiddos were splashing/ horse playing & Rob & Connie were still with us. Too much tragedy. Warmest wishes and healing hugs to everyone. Love family/friends Tracy McLachlan & James Craig - Posted by: Tracy McLachlan (Friend /family ) on: Mar 14, 2023

  • Deepest condolences to Brian's family. I worked with Brian at MTS for many years. He taught me so many tricks of the trade. Brian was the 'go to' guy for all of the field technicians when they had head scratching problems. He would not only solve the problem, but explain in detail the whys and hows of the situation. Brian was well known at MTS to be the smartest person in any room! I spent many years living in Weston, as Brian did, and we also shared the love of golf. We played regularly together at Kildonan Park GC Saturday mornings with Norm, Daryl and Paul. Brian just loved winning dimes playing Bingo Bango Bongo! More often than not Brian would notch the best score of the day too! The word nice is used very often, but that really was Brian! Never ever saw him angry, except once at Mr. Goetz!! He was such a good friend, we'll all miss him. - Posted by: David Coffell (friend and workmate) on: Mar 12, 2023

  • Brian and I met in the MTS shop department in 1961. We bcame quick friends with similar interests such as sports and Volkswagon Beatle cars. We spent a lot of time golfing over the years and "hunting" around in the country. I especially remember a trip to the Okanogan to hunt pheasants way back when. His story about that trip was a pheasant that he shot pretending to be dead and then jumping up and flying away when Brian bent down to pick it up. Brian was always welcome among the Moore family. We were each others best men at our weddings. Adios amigo. My condolences to the Bell family. - Posted by: Bill Moore (Friend) on: Mar 11, 2023

  • My deepest sympathy to all the family. Rest in peace my dear friend. - Posted by: Valerie Boddis (Friend) on: Mar 11, 2023
