I first met Gord and Sue, coaching their daughter Justine in youth soccer. Our daughters went to middle and high school together and became good friends. They, Gord and Sue, made their home a welcoming place for all of their children's friends and it was the gathering place and the place the kids often crashed at. I am certain we owe the McIntosh's room and board! Sue, Mathew, Justine and your respective families, words cannot express how deeply sorry I am to hear of Gord's passing - - I was not even aware that he took ill. I will remember Gord for his warm smile. Whenever you ran into Gord; and you always ran into Gord, he was so friendly and had a genuine concern with how you and your family were doing. Gord had a good heart and was a good man! Justine, I wish I was around to give you a big hug. Sorry I am unable to make the celebration of life. I know it will be a great gathering for a great man! Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. With love and respect, Diane Bohun - Posted by: Diane Bohun (Family Friend) on: Mar 15, 2023

I have known Gord through friends, but quickly became friends. I will miss the larger than life personality and the happy grin. Gone too soon and Rest in Peace. Condolences to family and friends. Respectfully Dan Lester and the Lester family. - Posted by: Dan Lester (Friend) on: Mar 14, 2023

Gord's sister Terry has been a dear friend for many many years. As a result I met a lot of family members. I liked Gord right away...how could you not? He was just a delight to be around. He was generous, caring & funny. So funny! This doesn't even begin to describe him. Many closer will do it better than me. But it is the bond between him & Terry..there was nothing he wouldn't do for her that impacts me the most. You will be terribly missed Gord. A life cut terribly short but certainly well lived. My heart goes out to his family he loved so much especially Sue, Mathew & Justine - Posted by: Kelly Webster (Family friend) on: Mar 13, 2023

Very saddened to learn of Gord's passing. I met Gord through business but considered him a friend almost immediately as that's how he made anyone he met feel. Working for him or with him was a true pleasure. His positivity made him the special person he was. He kept in touch even after I got out of the business as I faced health challenges to check up on me. My deepest sympathies go to his son Matt & Gord's family. He was taken much too early.
