JANICE ANNE MOORE

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Janice Anne Moore, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, on March 11, 2023, at the age of 72 years.
Janice, daughter of Hazel Hunt and David Moore, loving Nana of Anna and Elise and mother of Jill, Katie, and her little cat Georgie, passed away peacefully as a patient at the Grace Hospital. She is survived by her daughters, Jillian Waruk and Katie Hindle (Brock), her treasured granddaughters, Anna and Elise, and her brothers, William (Karen), Gary (Lisa), and Greg (Valerie).
After graduating from the University of Manitoba in 1971, she dedicated the majority of her career as an Occupational Therapist to working with differently abled children in Winnipeg and surrounding Hutterian communities and retired in 2014 to spend more time with family and friends.
She loved hunting down the perfect recipe, quilting, and playing and teaching her talents to her girls. Her loss will leave a hole in the lives of many.
Jill and Katie wish to send a huge thank you to Jan's entire health care team, as well as their family and friends who have supported them in this difficult time.
Services will be held on Thursday, March 23 at 1:00 p.m. at Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St.
