IAN BLACKMORE
April 7, 1962 - March 14, 2023


With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Ian Bruce Blackmore at the age of 60 years.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will take place in July 2023.

  • Dearest Russ, I am still so very heartbroken to hear of Ian's passing to the spirit world. I have such fond memories of working with Ian and even better ones of our shared lunch conversations. He made me laugh out loud almost everyday which is such a rare gift and a blessing. Ian often expressed his love for you Russ and how much he enjoyed and appreciated your lives together.   • My condolences to Ian's family, and loved ones. It has been decades since I have seen Ian or talked to him but I was very sad to read his obituary. Ian was the first boy to ask me to a school dance, Ian picked me up and my Dad told Ian I had to be home by 11pm. Ian and I lived on the same street and we would sit on the swing and talk and laugh.   • My heart just broke when I read that Ian has passed. He was always just the most fun loving guy. I last saw him at another funeral in Selkirk and we had not seen each other in 20 years and it was just like not skipping a beat.
