It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of our dear mom, grandmother, sister, and friend Peggy (aka Francesca) at the age of 92.
Margaret Frances was born in Winnipeg to Jimmy and Elsie Clarke on September 15, 1930.
She is survived by her half-siblings, Bobby (Shirley), Pat (Leonard) and Jane; children, Shawn Trotter (Len), Lori Young (Louis Delesalle), Paul J. Kane (Carla) and Bill Kane (Kim); and grandchildren, Laurel, Carly, Trevor (Kelsey), Brianna, and Paul Connor.
She is predeceased by her parents and her sister June Lawson; her former husband and father of her four children Paul A. Kane; as well as her life partner Robert Johnston.
The family is immensely grateful to the staff at The Rosewood Waverley and BrightWater Senior Living (Arbor House) for their incredibly kind and compassionate care.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

To Shawn, Laurie, Paul and Billy My sincere condolences to all the family. Peggy was a dear friend. I will miss her, but our wonderful memories of her will continue to bring a smile to my face. She was a bright light. To our travels to the spa at Lake Louise and biking and walking in Holland and Germany, working with her at Air Canada, as well as part of the Ya-Ya Group Francesca always was a joy to be around She introduced me to Martinis and we will be lifting a glass for her. Shawn, Lori and families - I was so sad to read of your mom's passing. Although it's been many, many years since I've seen her, her picture looks exactly as I remember her. Though it's been a while, I vividly remember her as a smiling and happy mom on the old Sandra Bay circle.
