Ethel Barbara Stinton, died March 21, 2023 at the Assiniboine Centre in Brandon, Manitoba at the age of 92 years old. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Russell, children Judy (Wayne) Whittingham & Brian (Nancy), as well as their families. In accordance with Ethel’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be announced and held at a later date. Donations in memory of Ethel may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society; 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg MB R3C 2B7.

I worked with Ethel at BGH on 300 East. I fondly called her “Mother Ethel” as she really showed me the ropes as a young nurse. She was so calm and always a hard worker. Someone you could count on during a busy shift
