HENRY ROBICHAUD

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Henry J. Robichaud, (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 92.

Originally from Loggieville, New Brunswick, Henry was the last of 14 children and a proud veteran of the Navy and Air Force. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and wonderful human being who was truly treasured and will be missed tremendously, yet always lovingly remembered.

He is survived by his wife of over 70 years, May and his children, Norman, Doreen (Pym), Robert, Diane (Palmer) and Nancy (Grubiak) as well as their spouses, his 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

  • I remember stopping in to visit on my way back to Alberta many years ago . Henry and May were great hosts and I always made sure to visit them every time I was in Winnipeg. They always loved having visitors and even met family in Florida. They ran into my brother Joe’s in-laws and ended up seeing Joe and his family when they arrived in Florida. - Posted by: Rick Robichaud (Nephew ) on: Apr 15, 2023

  • Thank you for coming to rescue me when I drove to Winnipeg for the first time years ago. I had Alexis and Michael with me and I was a new driver at the time. You drove to the outskirts of Wpg to meet us and drove slowly in front of us and guided us safely to your home. I will always remember your kindness. My condolences to the Robichaud family. - Posted by: Vicki Robichaud (Friend of family) on: Apr 14, 2023
