CHARLES ANGUS BIRDWISE
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Charles Angus Birdwise in his 99th year.
Dad was predeceased by his beloved wife Georgina on January 19, 2018.
Charles is survived by his daughters: Susan (Ron McFadyen) and Cindy (Gerry Lecocq), son Doug Birdwise (Moira), grandsons: Niall McFadyen (Karla, Callum, Arthur, and Maisie), Colin McFadyen (Jaime, Charlotte, and Mason), Ross Birdwise, Scott Birdwise (Emily), Robyn Lecocq and granddaughter: Cari Thakar (Meet, and Tobias).
Dad was born in West Kildonan and was a Veteran of the Second World War. He worked at Eaton’s in his younger years and retired from Winnipeg Hydro. Mom and Dad enjoyed trips to Hawaii, Scotland, across Canada, and to the USA. They spent their summers at their cottage in Whytewold.
A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
