LARRY LUCIEN RONDEAU
On Monday, April 3, 2023, Mr. Larry Lucien Rondeau of Oliver, BC passed away peacefully, after a brief illness at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 72 years.
He was predeceased by his mother, Katherine Rondeau (nee Burak), his father Lucien Rondeau, and his sister-in-law Laurie Rondeau.
Larry will be fondly remembered by his loving family including his wife, Olga; his brothers, Garry (Barbara) from Oakbank, MB; Terry (Lorna), Randy (Lorie), and Lenny all from Winnipeg, MB; his children, stepson Devin Raskin (Christina) from Vancouver, BC, Michelle Morgan from Regina, SK, Kellie Rondeau from Sooke, BC, David Rondeau from Victoria, BC, stepson David Lamoureux (Ali) from Selkirk, MB; grandchildren, Liam, Maegan, and Fiona; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, extended family and friends.
Larry enjoyed a long career in the hospitality industry and really enjoyed meeting with people.
He liked to travel; Peggy’s Cove was a favourite spot, and his dream of visiting the Maritimes was fulfilled.
Larry appreciated a wide variety of music. In his younger days he was a drummer and toured with his bandmates. He was an avid reader and loved hiking, gardening, and watching his Toronto Blue Jays.
