BRIAN COX

January 8, 1954 - March 21, 2023

The Cox family is heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of Brian on March 21, 2023, after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer.



Brian was a loving husband to his wife Carol; proud father to sons, Evan (Alyssa) and Trevor; and an elated grandpa (Papi) to his precious grandson Bohdi. Brian will also be missed by his mother Eileen; sister Lynne (Derek); brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.



Brian was born in Carman MB. His family moved to Winnipeg when he was a child, where he would go on to live the rest of his life. Brian worked in sales for many years and eventually found his calling in the design, sale, and installation of commercial playgrounds. But above all else, his true passion was his family. He spent many seasons coaching his sons in hockey, baseball and badminton and loved spending time fishing, working in the yard, and playing golf with his wife, his sons, and his golf buddies.



In keeping with Brian’s wishes, there will be no service.



Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so wish, donations in his memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or a local animal rescue agency.
