It has been a year since Mom's passing and not a day goes by that we don’t think of her; her generous smile, her splendiferous flower gardens, her many expressions of love that kept our family grounded through thick and thin. We commemorate our Mother's passing. We retell her stories and remember her through photographs. They capture moments of a life full of family, friends and community. She died on Good Friday in the middle of a snow storm, in the middle of pandemic, in the chaos and complexity that was the moment. Our hearts were broken. Our family felt the ache of her loss and we knew that life would never be the same again. We were one of many who lost a loved one in a changed world. Peggy Broderick brought love into this world. She brought light. It has been a year since her passing but we know she will be in our hearts forever.
