  • I am so very sad to hear of the passing of my dear friend Mary (MJ) Jackson. Mary was my Cooperating Teacher at Isaac Brock School in my very early teaching career. She was so wonderful and made teaching a joy. We laughed together and had some much fun working together. Let us remember those good times. My deepest condolences to Keith and family. So sorry for your loss of a wonderful lady. May the comfort and support of those who love you give you strength at this very difficult time. Mary will be sadly lost but never forgotten. May your memories bring a smile to your heart. Rest in peace my dear friend. Thinking of you. With sympathy and caring. • We were saddened to hear the news of Mary's passing. She most certainly touched our lives and we are better for knowing her. She mentored me early on in my teaching career and always called me Markie Mark, which caught on, and always made me feel "special" : ) She was so much fun and could both dish it out and take it. An amazing teacher, who sometimes showed up to school on her motorcycle. We were fortunate that our collegial relationship led to friendship and we have many fond memories to help keep her close within our hearts. We look forward to sharing stories with others when we meet to celebrate her life. The movie title, "There's Something About Mary," rings true with her, as a fellow colleague and I were just saying. Our condolences to Keith and her family and friends. - Posted by: Mark & Jackie Jefkins (Friends and colleagues) on: Apr 16, 2023
