My condolences on Wally's passing. I will miss him around the club (Rossmere) as he always took the time to ask me how I was doing, even just passing by. He'd ask how I was, I'd ask if he's going to play, He'd say he's gonna try. He would give me his famous grin and off he went.. rest in peace Wally. - Posted by: Sheri St.Germain (Employee at club) on: Apr 22, 2023

My deepest condolences to Gail and the entire family on Wally's passing. I first met Wally in 1978. As a new member at Rossmere and not knowing many members, I was standing on the first tee by myself. Wally came over and introduced himself and asked if I wanted to play. Next question was... what do you want to play for! I must have lost, as for next 45 years any game had something on the line. Although his body was wearing down and he was forced to wear knee and back braces he was still taking my money last September. I will miss Wally's jokes and stories (often repeated ) and just his friendly nature. Rest in piece bud. - Posted by: John Wiens (Friend) on: Apr 19, 2023

I met Wally when I first started golfing at Rossmere. Wally always smiled and told me goofy jokes. We had some silly conversations at times but he was always interested in my game and my and Peters health. I will miss you Wally. Rest in peace, my friend. - Posted by: Kathy Slezak (Friend) on: Apr 17, 2023

I will remember him from the Pritchard Boat Yard days when he swam to Lockport with his hands tied behind his back. He was also a life guard at Northend Pritchard Pool. Great guy! Walter Mirosh - Posted by: Walter Mirosh (friend) on: Apr 15, 2023
