Marie Anne Desorcy
Marie Anne Desorcy (nee Hogue), died peacefully on Friday, April 14, 2023, at the age of 92.
Marie Anne will be lovingly remembered by her five children, Monique (Norman), Diane (Floyd), Denis (Donna), Paulette (Maurice) and Philippe (Sherry). She will be missed by her grandchildren, Jason, Michelle, Brian, Krystal, Kristopher, Dominique, Jacqueline, Joelle, Denis Jr., Heather, Danielle, Allison, Rheal, Gerard and Therese. Marie Anne was blessed with twenty-two great-grandchildren spread over several provinces and the United States.
Marie Anne was predeceased by Gerard, her beloved husband of 52 years. Besides her children, Marie Anne is survived by a sister Hughette and brother Alain; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Yvonne and father Antoni; and brothers, Noel and Guy; and sisters, Aline, Fernande, Claire, and Edmee.
A special thank you to the staff at Actionmarguerite St. Vital for their care and compassion at the end of her life. They were wonderful.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Michael at Our Lady of Hope in Anola, Manitoba on Thursday, April 20, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Green Acres Funeral Home and Cemetery on Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Road.
