OREST KOLISNYK
The family of Orest Kolisnyk is saddened to announce his passing on Friday, April 14, 2023, at the age of 73 years.
Funeral service will be held Monday, April 24, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Holy Ascension, Swan River, Manitoba. Interment to follow in Cowan Community Cemetery.

I met Orest back in 1973 while working at Safeway. We worked the midnight shift for a few years together. I will always admire Orest for his work ethic, professionalism and the responsible way he carried himself daily. After many years had passed I visited Orest out in Cowan and it was just like old times. We reminisced about the Safeway days, had a few drinks and ended up having dinner with his family and spending the night. I will never forget that visit and how he treated me like family! I truly regret not riding out there on the Harley for another visit. Rest in peace old friend. My sincere condolences to Olive and family.
