It’s with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother Victoria Tomchuk on April 1, 2023 at the age of 93.
She is survived by her five children and her youngest brother Ted Malenchak.
We miss her greatly in thinking of all the laughs and fun times we had with her.
Funeral arrangements will be posted at later date.

Aunt Vicky said she was 10 years old when her eldest brother Walter (my dad) got married. That is exactly how old I was when my sister Lorraine got married and moved out of Manitoba. I am so grateful that Aunt Vicky described his wedding at the church in Zbaraz followed by a big reception with a home-made platform for dancing at the farm in Fisher Branch. All the guests were fed and then many of them stayed overnight by sleeping on the big veranda around the farmhouse. As she described, it was a warm day in August 1939. Rest in peace.
