• We were so sorry to hear of Aunt Ruth’s passing. I was raised calling this sweet gentle lady “Aunt”, even though she was a cousin. She was my mom's closest cousin (my moms folks were brother and sister to Aunt Ruth's dad and mom) , and they seemed more like sisters. Until my moms passing in 2021 they chatted 2-3 times weekly, and always ended their phone visits with “love ya back”. We were fortunate enough to have a lovely visit with Auntie when we were in Winnipeg in The fall of 2021, and so enjoyed our time. We have an amazing picture from this visit which we Cherish. • My Aunt Florence Granke and Ruth Boyd were friends from way back. Miss Boyd was a beautiful woman who my Aunt spent time shopping, travelling and hanging out as if I have this right they went to school and church together. She was always dressed so beautifully and hair and make up were just so. • My sincere condolences to the Ruth Boyd family. Ruth was a strong advocate of preserving the Seven Oaks Museum and McGowan Park properties.
