IZENA ELIZABETH OWEN

It is with a broken heart we announce the passing of Izena. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma and had many social and personal friends to which she had a personal love affair with each and everyone.

Izena will be sadly missed by her children Mitch Owen, Jacquelyn Doerksen, Clark Own Jr., and their families. She was predeceased by her son Rick Owen.

Izena had a very profound love for animals. Her two favourites were dogs and horses.

We will surely miss her vibrant personality with her Nova Scotia dance and song, i.e. (Potatoes in the Oven).

Her and I had 63 fun-filled years, barrels of laughs along with tears.

In closing, I want you to know how I loved the true wife and mother you were. So, listen when I ask you, walk slowly down that long path for soon I will follow you.

Service of Remembrance will take place Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Wojcik’s Chapel of Memories, 2157 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba at 1:00 p.m.
