Sadly, we announce the passing of Norman Herbert Griffiths, 80, of Winnipeg, Manitoba on March 29, 2023.
He was born August 22, 1942 in Redcliff, Queensland, Australia to Ivy and Norman Griffiths.
Norman was raised in Samsonvale, Australia. At 21, he got his papers for motorbody repair and volunteered to be a member of the Citizens Military Forces. In 1966, he travelled to Canada and put down roots in Winnipeg.
He was proud to become a Canadian citizen in 2010. He was an avid member of the Down Under Club, and could be found helping at local initiatives like Folklorama and Harvest Manitoba. He is loved and remembered fondly by many.
Norman was predeceased by his wife Deborah, mother Ivy and father Norman Griffiths.
He is survived by his six children, nine grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.

A service will be held April 29, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Home, 1442 Main Street Winnipeg, MB.
