• So very, very saddened to hear of Phyllis' passing. I felt that Phyllis and I had a genuine kinship and friendship at ATAP and Knowledge Bureau activities. I was fortunate to work on the board of our association when Phyllis was the president and she always had a smile on her face at the January tax seminar in Toronto. She could connect with you in a very special way. Both professionally and personally. I always looked forward to our meetings and had a big hug for her when we were done. • Phyllis was a very close friend since grade ten. We continued our friendship until her passing. Phyllis spoke with such pride when we were talking about our children Katie and Niki were her everything along with her little dog. Socializing became more difficult in the more recent years due to her health condition but she embraced life with the glass half full perspective and enjoyed keeping in touch via texting.
