Memories of a school friend Sheila Watson (Sul), a few grades behind me at the Rocanville high school. Her parents owned Watsons grocery where many an ice I cream condor choc bar was purchased on the way to school. Her dad Joe was a friend of my Dad Merlin Acton. Joe was a quiet man while her mother Bae passed on many Armstrong traits to Sheila apparent in her nursing career. Sheila truly loved her profession and carried her skills to friends in need and her skills never left her. Her main interest was walking her dog and neighbours dogs. Visiting Sheila for coffee and matrimonial cake was always a treat. She loved her garden and her plants. Rest in peace Sheila. from Don and June (Acton) Ferrier - Posted by: June Ferrier (Acton) (school friend) on: May 10, 2023

I had the pleasure and challenge of working with Sheila in the PAR of BGH. She was like a candy treat - crusty on the outside, soft and gooey on the inside! She truly had a big heart, but her years as Head Nurse in the Emergency Dept. helped her develop her armour and those who were lucky enough to be defended by her were grateful for her true friendship. I consider myself a friend and know that she will be finally settled now with Emil and her parents. Thank you, Eileen, for being a dedicated family member. - Posted by: Rae Smith (co-worker) on: May 06, 2023
