HERMAN GERALD HENKEL

November 18, 1933 – April 22, 2023


Herman passed away peacefully at Grace Hospital at the age of 89.

He will forever be remembered and sadly missed by his wife Deanna; his three children, Cheryl (Tom), Jamie (Mark) and Rodney (Kathy); as well as his grandson Conner (Shenelle) and dear friend Paul. He also leaves to mourn his sister Esther as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, John and Julia Henkel and 16 of his siblings. Herman was born the 17th of 18 children. His strong personality will be missed by all that knew him. We love you Dad.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Grace Hospital Emergency and 5th floor Medicine Unit for the compassionate care for Dad.

A private gathering will be held at a later date.

He was a funny and great guy. I remember growing up with him and the great sense of humour he always had. I also remember he loved eating his onion and mustard sandwiches!
