Date of Passing: Apr 18, 2023
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEO FRANCOIS GAGNON
Peacefully, surrounded by family, Leo Gagnon, 84, died at Melville Hospice in White Rock, BC on April 18, 2023.
Leo is survived by his wife of 59 years, Louise; son Gerald (Susan); daughter Suzanne (Kevin and Bandit); grandchildren, Chantelle (Mike), Simone (Tyrone), Michelle (Travis) and his 17 great-grandchildren.
Leo was born in St. Anne, MB in 1938. He lived most of his life in St. Vital and worked for the City of Winnipeg for 32 years, retiring in 1995.
Leo thoroughly enjoyed his retirement. He loved golfing, biking and bowling, just to name a few activities.
Leo took a big leap of faith and moved out to BC in 2021 with Louise.
Unfortunately life in BC couldn’t be the amazing idea we had in our hearts; cancer and dementia robbed us of that.
We will choose to remember only the good times.
As per Leo’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
