Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDANIEL (DANNY) SINCLAIR
With enormous sadness, we announce the passing of Daniel (Danny) Sinclair on April 24, 2023.
Dan was kind, intelligent, and funny. Everyone who met him, instantly liked him. You could not find anyone nicer.
Dan loved nature, playing guitar and singing, and watching and playing sports, especially tennis. He was often found cheering on his favourite teams, the Blue Bombers and the Jets, reading a book (a new one every week!), or spending time in the sun.
Dan was born in Balsam Bay. Through much of his life, he worked at MTS and took contracts in many locations, like New York and San Francisco. In 2009, Dan married his best friend, Mim Budworth. They enjoyed many great times together, playing tennis, travelling, visiting Palm Springs, playing games, and spending time with their many friends.
Dan was predeceased by his father, Daniel, and his grandson, Cole.
Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Mim, his mother, Florence, his brothers, Dale (Lena) and Mark (Dulcie), and his children, Warren, Tracy, Dani and Darrell. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Brad, Tawny, Noah, Hayley, Dasia, and Daelynn.
Dan also especially loved Mim’s sister, Lou (Vitel, Gavin), daughter, Kelly (Lloyd), and their children, Karys and Naya.
With deep gratitude, we acknowledge and value the wonderful friends who helped, visited, and phoned regularly. Thank you to the palliative care nurses and health care workers who provided support over the last few months.
A service in honour of Dan’s life will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Gilbart Funeral Home, 309 Eveline Street, Selkirk, MB.

We met Dan & Mim in Palm Springs … we enjoyed visiting, coffee or lunch at some of the favourite places and many hours and evenings spent poolside listening and dancing to Dan play guitar and sing. He was kind, friendly and always so considerate of those around him. He will be missed … condolences and heartfelt sympathy to Mim ♥️♥️ Love from Leon & Jennie Mallow Saskatoon - Posted by: Leon & Jennie Mallow (Friends) on: May 02, 2023

Whenever we think of Dan, we smile. He was a gentle, softspoken man with a quiet sense of humour. He would go to great lengths for Mim (literally!) - first to Thunder Bay, then out to Winnipeg Beach, later down to Palm Springs and back for winter holidays. He was always there for Mim - whether it was tying her shoelaces, playing tennis, taking his turn at making supper, telling stories to his granddaughters, playing his guitar. We were fortunate to have him for a friend and he will be much missed. - Posted by: Laurie & Denis Dunlop (Friends) on: Apr 30, 2023
