Peacefully, Albert Gaborieau passed away, surrounded by his family, at the age of 78.
Albert is survived by his two sons, Ryan (Christine) and Patrick (Melissa), both living in BC; his brother Marcel (Joanne); sisters, Angèle (Nick) Roberts and Muriel (Daniel) Hayma; and nieces and nephew.
He was predeceased by his parents, Honoré and Cécile (Lesage) Gaborieau; his brother Alphonse; his wife Dianne; their son Chad; and his sons’ mother Daria.
Albert’s career spanned from the Navy to working in the mines in Red Lake, Ontario, to retire as a painter. His interests were travelling, reading and discussing current events.
The family wishes to thank his sister, Angèle, for the loving care throughout the years, as well as his niece, Sherri, for her visits with her fur baby, PITA.
Cremation has taken place and a family memorial will be held at a later date.
