JACQUELINE ANN (ROBBIE) RAFFERTY
February 1, 1932 - May 18, 2022
One year has gone by since Jackie's passing. She is missed by her husband Jack, her sons, Shane (Holly) and Jim (Rosemary), her grandkids and great-grandchildren.
Jackie grew up in Winnipeg and after a number of work-related moves, spent most of her later years in southern Ontario only to find herself and Jack back in Manitoba for her final few years.
She was quiet and kind and will be remembered for loving time at the beach, working for the bank and her dedication to Beta Sigma Phi sorority and the charities they supported.
While geography separated her from family most of the time, she didn't let this stop her from being an important figure in the lives of her grandchildren. Gifts and cards were sent for every occasion and phone calls were a regular occurrence. When grandchildren visited, she knew how to make them feel special. Making a trip to the grocery store to pick up your favourite foods was always the first thing on the to do list.
She was one of a kind, I mean, how many Grandmas took you driving with the top down in her signature white Mustang with the Spice Girls blaring? Maybe someone else too, but she was ours, we loved her and miss her.
