My condolences to Rob's remaining family members. I was very sad to here that Rob is gone. It has been a very hard year for all of you, and my heart and prayers go out to you. I recently found out that Rob had suffered from a stroke a few years ago, but fortunatly I was able to reach out and speak to him at his care facility. Thank you to his ex-wife Laura for helping me track him down. It saddened me to know the once vibrant and dare devilish young man (The Cat) that I knew in my younger years, had been afflicted with such a tragedy. I still remember him in his high heel boots (fashion of the day) running across the cathedral peak of Sparling Church to reclaim a base ball that got up there. Rob was a good friend with a great sense of humor, and I will miss him. If you knew Rob, he had a way of saying things that would always give you a good chuckle. For his friend at the City of Winnipeg, I remember when he started there. He was training to operate a side walk snow plow. In his typical humor, he enquired of the instructor, "what should they do if they encounter some drunk passed out on the sidewalk . . . Lift the blade?" Bye Rob. - Posted by: Peter Vagasi (Friend) on: Jun 17, 2023
