The world is a darker place since the passing of Heather Wood, 28, at the Riverview Health Centre on May 13, 2023. After valiantly battling a rare brain cancer for almost five years, she leaves behind her daughter and ray of sunshine, Lily, her husband Tyler, her siblings, Jessica (Dylan), and Thomas (Steven), her niece Margo and many other treasured friends and family. She was predeceased by her mother, Sharon.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Heather's life will be held on May 27, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at 36 Ambergate Drive in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
