ROLF SIMON
Rolf-the-Electrician, age 73, of St. Andrews, passed peacefully on May 18, 2023, at the Selkirk Hospital.
Known for his love of wine, golf, and animals, his winter beard and his summer clean shaven look along with his colourful suspenders.
Many thanks to CancerCare for an extra two years of golfing at Larters.
A heartfelt thank you to MAiD for ending his pain and suffering.
Thanks to all the family and friends who visited him in the hospital. It cheered his spirits even though he may have had a small nap while you were visiting.
No service will be held. Anyone wishing to honour his memory may make a donation to CancerCare or any Manitoba animal rescue; Manitoba Animal Alliance, Manitoba Underdogs, D’Arcy’s ARC, Winnipeg Humane Society, or any other animal rescue.
