FOKKO PETER BUURMA
Fokko Peter Buurma, beloved husband of Betty Buurma, entered into rest at his residence on May 20, 2023 at the age of 59 years.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Buurma acreage, 64027 Manitoba Hwy 464, in the RM of North Cypress-Langford, MB.
Donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.

Fokko, we met you as a young Corporal in the West German Army, stationed at CFB Shilo Manitoba. You were full of dreams, among them that of meeting a beautiful loving woman and raising a dedicated family. With your loving wife Betty you have achieved those goals. We never knew you in civilian life but as a soldier you were second to none in your devotion and dedication. Corporal Buurma your duties and watch shift have been completed to the fullest, now you can stand down, step back and fold your antenna one last time.
