Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I grew up with Dale and went to school with her as we lived very close to each other. We were the baby boomers and there were a lot of us who gathered together in the evenings, after school or on weekends to play baseball in empty lots or on the streets, to go skating on the large rink made each year by the dads on Whtewold Road, or at Silver Heights Community Club, to ride our bikes anywhere and everywhere, and Dale was part of this large group of friends. She was a very dear and lovely person and was well liked by everyone. In 1978 a few of us met in my mother’s back yard to visit and reminisce. We had a lot of good memories to share. I no longer live in Winnipeg but still have fond memories of the friends I grew up with, and Dale was certainly one of those people. I am very sad to hear that she has passed away and I send my condolences to her family. Alana Stephens - Posted by: Alana (Hammond) Stephens (Old school friend) on: May 27, 2023
