It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Francis Pott at the age of 70, following a brief but brave battle with cancer. After conquering cancer in 1988, Wayne sadly succumbed to it on May 26, 2023.
Immediate cremation has taken place. In lieu of a Celebration of Life, the family has chosen a private tribute to say goodbye to the greatest man they have ever known, an inspiration to his grandsons, Derek’s mentor, Bev’s rock and the absolute love of Simonne’s life.
Wayne’s family kindly requests that you visit his tribute page at EthicalDeathCare.com. A photo-biography as well as memories and stories published by those who knew him are available there.

I'm sad to learn of Wayne's passing. I met him and his family back in the 90s through ball, and years later I came across Wayne and Derek a few times out on the pebbled ice and that was always fun. Wayne was a super nice guy. Sincere condolences to Simonne, Derek, Bev, and Wayne's entire family. I'm very sorry for your loss. Rest in peace Wayne. - Posted by: Bradley Pisiak (friend from playing ball) on: Jun 03, 2023
