• Brigette was my first bestie. We watched the pop hits videos on tv together by phone and loved Michael Jackson. Especially the Thriller video! We’d vote on the phone lines for MJ to win. We had a clothing design biz that we cultivated for our future. We grew apart when I moved in grade 8 to garden city but I’ll always cherish her friendship and gorgeous smile. My love and prayers to her mom Barbara (thank you for having me at your home in elementary school) and Eddie her very cool big brother and her sis Tricia. I recall you all fondly. Big hugs. • I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of Brigette. My sister Sylvia and Brigette were good friends during elementary school. I was 10 years older than the girls. I remember Brigette coming over for lunch and my mom making pancakes; She loved pancakes. She was always so sweet and cheerful. • Both my sister and I knew Brigette since she was 5 years old. Our families bonded together while she was living on Troy Ave and we on Chamberlain. Bbqs, trips to the park. Matching blue and red disco jackets. Still have those precious memories. My deepest sympathies to You Mrs. Jones, Tricia and Eddie. I will forever cherish these beautiful memories. She was a wonderful person who I got to know when visiting cousins on Chamberland in Winnipeg, MB. As kids we all played, laughed maybe cried together, but not sure about that crying part as we just had an awesome time together all the time. • We were heart broken to hear of the sudden loss of Brigette! Brigette had the biggest smile and unforgettable laugh! We had a shared love for Michael Jackson, disco hits, dinners at A&W by the fire place and slurpees. Countless moments big and small that have me laughing through the tears.
