It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Papa, Felipe Mitschek Dimen Jr. (77) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, on June 2, 2023.
Felipe, fondly known as Jun, was born to Felipe Dimen Sr. and Marion Mitschek on August 2, 1945 in Milagros, Masbate, Philippines.
Lamay will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery at 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
Felipe’s family and friends give special thanks to the staff at the Victoria General Hospital for their kindness, respect and efforts in caring for him in his final months. Extra special thanks go to Dr. Heather Adam, nurses Hana, Aisha, Julia, Chantelle, Doris and the countless support staff.
