My wife Mary and I were indeed saddened to hear of Charles (I called him Charlie) passing away. As a Fort Garry Policeman, he was always neat and well turned out in uniform and knew how to best serve and protect the public. We enjoyed being with him on the job and off duty. In addition to his good discipline, deportment and attitude, 'Charlie' had a desire to study and accomplish goals. Such goals led to his moving onto other successful fields of endeavor. We missed his leaving police work, but wished him the very best. Actually of all his accomplishments, his marrying Valerie was his best. May his soul be blessed. My sincere condolences to Chuck wife Valerie & family. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. We first met on July 1st,1964 when Chuck, Pete Drewniak & myself joined the Fort Garry Police Department. Chuck stayed on the force for a few years & then moved to other endeavors. We lost touch at that point. Rest in Peace Chuck, - Posted by: Alexander C Stratton (Co-worker.) on: Jun 10, 2023
