MARGARET CLARA SANDERSON
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret on June 2, 2023, at the age of 86.
She will be sadly missed and remembered by her husband Reg; step-daughter Laura (Billy); brothers, Kris and Cameron (Jeri); sister Lavina; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by brother Verne (Doreen); sister-in-law Ruth; and brother-in-law Charlie Allan. Margaret was born and raised in Oak Point, Manitoba where her parents, Gud-mundur (Mundy) and Clara Breckman resided.
Margaret was a very warm, kind, compassionate person. She was always thinking of others’ comfort and well-being.
After graduating from United College, Margaret went to work for a finance company. Subsequently, she worked primarily in the home construction industry as a legal secretary and office manager.
As per Margaret's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family gathering to celebrate Margaret's life will be held at a later date. Margaret’s family invites friends and relatives to take a few minutes to honour her memory by visiting her tribute page at EthicalDeathCare.com. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to CancerCare Manitoba or the Heart and Stroke Foundation Manitoba.
