Karl passed peacefully after battling Alzheimer's for many years. He was born in Winnipeg where he met his wife Carol (Derry). They have two children Kathy Lambert and Ward, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, and also hunting in his younger years. Karl always worked in autobody and retired from MPI after 21 years.
Karl and Carol were members of Joy Lutheran Church. The family would like to thank Joy's members for their support. Also, Deer Lodge where Karl received 4 ½ years of excellent care and support for his family. Special thanks to his sister Mrytle and Orlin Obie, Linda and Gary Young, and Linda and Randy Steinke.
An evening service will be held June 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Joy Lutheran Church, 2-50 Barnes Avenue.

Carol we are so saddened to read of his passing. He was a very gentle soul and it was a delight to sit with him and have a conversation.
