Always Dynamic! From an early time, watching Ange attack his goals with a lazer like focus, and a clear joy, was always a pleasure. He knew what he wanted, and never hesitated. Ange earned, and deserved every success in his life. May Ange Rest in Peace! Deepest condolences to Dom and Jacquie, along as to all of the Grestoni family, in their time of loss! - Posted by: Dennis Lavallee (friend) on: Jun 21, 2023

I am sorry to learn of Angelo's passing. Even as young guy you knew he was going places, living to the fullest, following his dreams. Along the way it sounds like he impacted a significant number of lives. Domen my heart goes out to you and your family. May Ang find the light and peace to guide him home. I first recall meeting Angelo at a UMSU Junior Barnes social l, I think we called them), or maybe it was the St Vital hotel or most probably at a New Years bash at my Sunset Beach cottage. Regardless we were both free spirited long hair hippy types squeezing every last drop out of our adolescent lives. What struck me from the get go was, despite all the craziness in our lives, he had a razor sharp focus on the future, specifically how to better himself financially. This was tuned even more so after a life altering event. What now became so important was not only the family and friends he loved but a means to achieve his goal, that being getting an education! Naturally good with numbers, finance was his new language and getting a degree his top priority. We all watched in awe his understanding of making money through his sharp business acumen. He never forgot the people he loved along his meteoric rise. With Angelo globetrotting around the financial world him and I never lost touch with each other despite the great distances separating us. I looked forward to his long calls on Christmas Eve, birthdays or major world events. He always had a matter of fact stance or a firm grasp on reality for the goings on in the world. For me he seemed to put things in the right perspective and I hung up feeling things would be alright. The last time I saw him and his wife Leigh was at the Medford Vineyard. It was a relaxing halcyon visit and one we both thoroughly enjoyed. He never spoke of any health related issues leaving me sad that he didn’t for me being in Health care. But we did talk for hours about his extended families in San Jose, Winnipeg and friends around the globe. He was formulating future plans to retire back to his roots in Italy. He would buy a large Tuscany home or lake side retreat on Lake Como. Always large enough for friends and family to visit. Sadly that never happened. When I think of him now it’s easy to think about the what ifs and the missed opportunities. But my friends let’s remember the life lived and the greatness achieved by this long haired kid from St Boniface. What a life…… My deepest sympathies to those close who loved him. I can hear Angelo now saying boldly, “come on you can get through this……come on!” When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. Rest peacefully my friend Angelo, rest peacefully…… David Nash White Rock British Columbia - Posted by: David Nash (Life long friend ) on: Jun 13, 2023
