Guy Bernard Paradis of Brandon, MB, formerly of Dunrea, MB, passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Wednesday November 30, 2022, at the age of 91 years.
Guy leaves to mourn his passing five children, Marielle Coleman of Ottawa, ON, Gerard (Lorraine) Paradis of Dunrea, MB, Michelle (Sandy) MacDonald of Dunrea, MB, Ivan (Sheryl) Paradis of Arcola, SK, Martin (Kara) Paradis of Boissevain, MB; thirteen grandchildren Chantal (Nick), Brandon, Danielle, Jordan, Stephanie, Dallas, Morgan (Jade), Matthew, Nathan, Devin, Ashton, Briar, Lennon; and three great-grandchildren Madison, Jasmine, and Adeline.
He is also survived by his brothers Father Edmond Paradis and Father Francois Paradis both of Winnipeg, MB; sisters Yvette Boulet of Regina, SK, and Clémence (Jack) Bignell of Winnipeg, MB; brother-in-law Pierre Huberdeau of Portage la Prairie, MB, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.
Guy was predeceased by his wife Jeanne (nee Boulet) (2020), parents Arthur and Alice Paradis, sisters Lillian Huberdeau and Angella Hudon, brothers-in-law Arthur Hudon and Jules Boulet, and son-in-law Clarence Coleman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday June 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Felix de Valois Catholic Church, Dunrea, MB with Father Phillip Malayil and Father F. Paradis officiating. Following the service interment will take place in St. Felix Parish Cemetery. Everyone is welcome.
