GEOFFREY SCOTT DICK

May 26, 1966 – May 24, 2023

With heavy hearts, Colette, Mom, Leslie and Jasper (faithful dog) announce Geoff’s passing in Vancouver.

Many were waiting to welcome Geoff home - his Dad (Cliff Dick), Nana and Poppa (Janet and Harry Dickson), Uncle Frank Murdoch, Aunt Sandra Elder, Uncle Rick Elder and Auntie Sharon Smith.

For the past 30 plus years, Geoff called British Columbia home. He loved the majestic mountains, deep forests and rushing rivers. Mountain biking, hiking, and skiing were his passions.

Geoff will be sadly missed by his partner of 24 years, Colette Aubin, his Mom (Jean Campbell), Sister (Leslie Dick), Aunt Doreen along with many cousins, friends and extended family.

Geoff was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease 15 years ago. He courageously fought this disease - he was a warrior.

The following poem written by Colette was shared at his Celebration of Life in Vancouver on June 3, 2023. In lieu of flowers, please consider spending time with a loved one who is ill.

May you sit with the silence of Nature

and reflect.

May you be moved by the magic and wonder of Life.

May you come to revere the ebb and flow in equal measure.

May you allow your heart to open fully,

and trust you are being held by

Divine Mother.

May you know that time and space

will never diminish our connections

- for we live in each other’s hearts -

and when you think of me,

I will be there.
