Barbara Marie Davies passed away on June 13, 2023 at the age of 71 with family by her side, after a short battle with Cancer.
Barb was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Ella Downey; her brothers, Marvin, Jim, Lyle, Les, Ernie and Garry and sister Lenore.
She will lovingly be remembered by her husband Terry; daughter Tina (Scott) Stanley; son Owen Davies; grandchildren, Shae-Lynn, Aaron (Shelby), Jael (Marina) and Rachel (Derek); great-grandchildren, Logan and Levi; siblings, Vivian (Gordon) Barwick, Shirley (Ron) Turner, Morris (Mary-Jane) Downey and Larry (Patti) Downey; sisters-in-law, Donna Downey, Pat Downey and Audrey Shaw; Shae-Lynn's aunt Michelle Harvie; cousins, Kaitlyn Harvie Houle and Sawyer Harvie who became her bonus family; and numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer of 2024.
A big thanks goes out to all the doctors, nurses and staff that helped us through this difficult time, especially those at the palliative unit of the Assiniboine Centre.
Donations in memory of Barb may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation - Palliative Care Unit, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, MB R7A 2B3.
