PATRICIA CAROLINE KAUS

(nee WINTER)

It is with great sadness that the family of Patricia Kaus announce her sudden passing on June 15, 2023 at the Hartney Community Health Centre. Pat was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Pat was born in Davidson, SK on August 17, 1946 and was raised in Flin Flon, MB. In 1964 she moved to Brandon where she worked at the Brandon Mental Health Centre until her retirement in October 2001. In 1982 Pat married Victor Kaus and they raised their three children in Brandon. She moved to Souris in 2020 and most recently to Hartney. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Hartney Community Health Centre for the incredible care and compassion given to Pat over the last ten months.

Pat leaves to mourn her children, Bridget (Santiago), Richard (Bobbie) and Daryl (Sheryl); her grandchildren, Nick (Gaby), Dennis, Alberto, Ruben, Katrina, Reegan, Riley, Richie, Ava and Liam; her great-grandson Geovani; brothers, Rick (Fran) and Ed; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and her best friends, Vera and Donna. Pat was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Bridget Winter.

Special thanks to Pat's friends and family that kept in touch with her over the years, either by phone, visits or messenger.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and internment will be held on August 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rosewood Memorial Gardens in Brandon, followed by a Celebration of Life at Aspen Woods, 204 Wapiti Way, Brandon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hartney Community Health Centre, Box 280, Hartney, MB.
