Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRIAN GREGORY SAMMONS
It is with great sorrow that I announce the passing of my husband and best friend Brian.
He was a loving, caring husband to wife Leslie and a wonderful father to sons, Dr. Blake Ball (Monique) and Brian Ball (Jennifer). Brian loved his two grandchildren, Serena and Xander. Survived by his siblings, Charlie, Clare (Candy), Holly, Kellee (Roger Scott) and a large extended family.
Brian had a successful stucco business for many years and was still enjoying work as a drywall taper. He loved getting up early and heading off to the job site where he enjoyed the company of his fellow workers. He was known as Gramps to all the young crew, surprising them with how hard he could work.
Brain loved his Jets hockey, NFL football, and travelling.
No formal service, flowers gratefully declined. Donations to Winnipeg Pet Rescue appreciated as Brian loved his animals.
We shall miss him forever.

Not many days go by where I don’t think about Brian working in the office here. I miss our little chats when he would stop by. I miss seeing his smiling face on the job site. I miss him assuring me everything will be all right. I miss him now and I will always miss him. He was a wonderful human being. So hard to hear about Brian’s passing. I remember him and brother Charlie from Chapman school mostly. Sounds like he had a good life. That’s all we can expect. My thoughts are with family. Ps he was the first boy I kissed. Should I have said that? Ha it’s just something you don’t forget. But he probably forgot. Sincere condolences. So sad to hear of Brian’s passing. He was so kind to me as his much younger cousin and he took me around Winnipeg and showed me the ropes when I arrived back in Canada from many years overseas. In the many times I visited over the years Brian always made an effort to come and have coffee with me at our Aunt Susan and Uncle Jonas’ house. And he always made sure to start off with a wisecrack to make sure I was paying attention. I was there when he met the love of his life, Leslie and I know how fiercely he loved her. Goodbye my funny, loyal, hardworking cousin. I wish you had had more time on this earth. To Leslie and family and all my cousins and the Sammons family my deepest condolences.
